Pnp at the restaurant where we enjoyed a 4 hour dinner before the concert. This was drinking exceptionally well right from the get go. Dark purple in the glass. Nose of all the exquisite Napa cab elements....cassis, graphite, some briar notes, tobacco, etc. Our 2nd bottle at the table, so opened about 1 hour in and finished over the next 2-3 hours. This one never wavered. If anything, it gained a point as it went along. We both had this …

Very, very dense, much cassis, difficult to fully evaluate

Mark1npt nailed the notes for this wine. An amazing Napa Valley designate cab. A great QPR at auction pricing.

Given a 6+ hour decant....soft, chalky minerally mouthfeel. Great dark red/black fruit, it has some weight and layers, but yet because it's all Cab, it's limited in it's bang for the buck. One of THE best NV wines I've had lately, but it's still straight Cab and can't get past that magical 95 point threshold for me. Fantastic qpr here, and makes me wonder why people would pay the extreme tariff for their single vineyards when they can get this …

Deep color, smooth and rich flavors of black fruit. Still tannic after a 4 hour decant.

This was my first Lithology and I'm sold if this bottle is representative. Score is based on the 2nd night when it all came together. The first night it was burly, had heat on the finish and had rough edges. By day #2, all that smoothed out and became harmonious. Still a big wine with tons of blueberry and dark red fruit, milk chocolate and coffee. Beautiful mouthfeel and weightlessness as it glides over the palate. Nice nose and long …

WOTN...to me. Mr/Mrs HMC back in town.......this was flat on opening, almost no nose for the first 30 min and the fruit was very muted as well.....however.....as the night wore on into 3-5 hours this really blossomed. The early high level of acidity backed off and the reserved red fruit rose. This drank exceptionally well and at about the 5th hour the fruit started turning away from red to sweet blackberry. This is just a lovely wine for the price. …

96 the first hour, 93 the second hour......initially at the pnp, this had an electricity, an energy that was reminiscent of the best of B Cellars. Beautiful, rich fruit, sweet tannins......but it faded over 2 hours to an iron rich, cassis rich, great red wine....this had beautiful extraction to the fruit, density and depth. An excellent qpr here......

Opened in the bottle 4 plus hours. Approachable and ripe but not flashy or over opulent. Sweet blue/red fruit, cassis, vanilla, and espresso. Tannins are fine grained/dusty but prominent. Maybe it’s the high quality fruit sources (GIII, Oakville Ranch...) as this performs better that the $125 price range. Needs time to come around but very good young.

This dark and rich Cabernet blend has a depth and class of wines far more expensive - and it is completely delicious right now. Dark purple in color; full in body; enticing aromas of blueberry, espresso, graphite, herbs, and baking spices. Tastes of black cherry, fresh blueberry, cocoa beans, cardamon, and pepper, with a sweet and grainy finish that goes on and on. Blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc. Still going (quite strongly) on second day. 14.9% …
