stewed fruits on the nose, round, full-bodied, big wine. quite a bit of sediment. double decanted, still a bit tight after an hour. have a few more bottles; looking forward to seeing how this evolves with a few more years in the cellar.

September 2018 in Walla Walla; 9/19/2019-9/22/2019 (Walla Walla, Washington) : Walla Walla downtown tasting room. Nice Red Mountain Ciel du Cheval Cabernet. Dark fruit and tobacco aromas. Dark cherry with well integrated, lush tannins and a medium-long finish.
