The colour was a lighter red. On the nose it was definitely moving away from the primary darker red fruits of cherry and getting leather/savoury notes. Fruit up front (darker cherry) and the wine moved though it was so lovely and savoury on the back palate especially. Leather, mineral and a touch of sous bois and smoke. Long. Really enjoyable and moving into a great place. 92-93
