Aerated into a decanter. Nose is a little challenging with notes of red, dark, and dried fruits, a good hit of vanilla, Moroccan spice, and a yeasty note. Soft and mature on the palate with low intensity flavors of red fruits, spices, and dusty, soft tannins. Poor finish. Probably over the hill. Good 81.

The medium+ intensity nose is oak spice driven with savoury, Asian spices, dark red berry, dark currant, and whiffs of dried berry, chocolate and coffee notes. It's medium-full bodied on the structured palate with fresh, juicy acidity and drying tannins that still seem a bit tight. Savoury, sweet oak spices, and red cherry flavours, along with some chocolate and toffee notes carry through to the long finish. Enjoy over the next 4-5 years.
