Domaine Courbis St. Péray

My last bottle, unfortunately. This wine has evolved beautifully over the years, with this last bottle showing a fullness and body that is really quite spectacular. Such a humble bottle of wine that aged so well. From a great Northern Rhône producer. A wine to seek out!

Absolutely delightful. Fruit is beginning to fade in a wonderful way, leaving behind lively acidity and slight reductive notes. 5th of 6 bottles. Glad I have one left. Will hold for another 1+ years

This wine continues to put on weight in a very attractive way. Quite rounded and plush, but still showing focused acidity. Really wonderful. Drink any remaining over the next 1-2 years.

Drinking wonderfully. Has put on weight since bottle drank a year ago. Shows a deepening gold color in the glass. Medium + body and length, with prior tea notes giving way to orange fruits, including early picked apricot.

PnP. Noticeably weightier than bottle drank some nine months ago. Much greater complexity, showing floral, spice, hazelnut, light oak, and tea notes, the last coming across as slightly tannic. This wine will continue to improve with further age. Hold for another year or so.

Easy drinking and relatively light bodied Northern Rhone white. Nice balance of dry fruits (peach stone) and nutty elements. Would be better if a bit riper. Will it put on weight?
