Intensely flavored with red fruit, sweet spice, and rose petal. Well-balanced alcohol, acidity, and tannin. A velvety mouthfeel with a relatively long finish.

Pinot for the people - Lioco democratizes Pinot like they do with Chardonnay. Taming difficult fussy grapes and selling the juice for cheap. Mendocino Pinot has pretty, almost gorgeous aromatics. Blatant fleshy cherries. Macerated strawberries, violets, and iodine. Far reaching scents. Everything's in balance when you'd expect something angular. The mouth is simpler - clean and green, a platter of fruit.

Aromas of ripe cherry, woodsmoke, flowers dried and fresh herbs — pretty bright nose. Definitely reads north coast California Pinot. The palate has more cranberry, spice and a touch of anise, it’s lean with a medium body and medium(-) tannins and medium+ acid. The palate is pleasant but is missing a touch of drive and depth. Regardless, I like it overall, it’s elegant, and fairly priced at $25.
