Well kept bottle. This was far beyond its prime. Nose of Brie Cheese, mushroom/mycelium and hints of forest floor in that order. The similarity to Brie is uncanny, really. Unfortunately the wine is entirely flat and dull. The Brie translates only mildly to the palate but that’s all you get. Decanting for 30 minutes saw the palate fade even further. Let down for such a well kept bottle.
