Black cherry Sangiovese fruit, Tuscan earth, Tuscan herbs, especially rosemary. A hint of iron. About as good a way as any to spend $29.95 on a Tuscan red. 91.

Pure and unadulterated, with a nose of fresh cassis and earth. There's ironstone too. It has generosity of fruit and plenty of nuance. There's tart cherry and some chew to the finish. It is fresh and vital and stacked with flavour.
