The Herzog, Forebearers, Zinfandel, 2019 was next up. The Forebearers line represents the first vineyard bought in the famed Napa Valley by the Herzog winery in 2018 after eight generations of winemaking. The original vineyard was planted in 1974 and was quite old at the time of its purchase, producing only super low yield harvests of Napa fruit.
