One of the more memorable wines that I’ve been able to see the development throughout the bottle. Started quite astringent- high acid, cool fruit (young plum, smooth cherry), and surprisingly tight tannins. As the wine warmed, it developed more depth in flavor with a more rounded drink. This brought out warm spiced notes and chocolatey characters.
