Trip to Italy 2006 (part 4); 6/19/2006-6/22/2006 : Much more typical sangiovese. Aromatic and perfumy. Roses, acids, strawberries, raspberries, tea, limestone and sage all show through on the palate. But it's a bit green as well. Very well made wine, but a lousy year. Would love to try this in a better year.
