Are you kidding me? This wine is perfect right now. Especially after being opened for an hour or so. An excellent Napa wine.

Fruit forward--mostly blackberry--and grapey. Alcohol came through as it warmed. Didn't change much with hours of air. Beautiful bottle and label. Still a lot of primary fruit, but I'm not sure this will benefit from further age.

Outstanding wine, very limited wine which has deep, dark purple color, wonderful aromatics, dark fruit, tobacco and spice well integrated and balanced with long finish. I wish I had more of this wine.

If you like a fruit-forward wine with finesse, this is classic "big" Napa Cabernet in a top tier. I think it competes well with similar profiles at twice the price. The exception is that it may not age well beyond 10 years instead of 20, but who wants to wait that long?

Graphite notes a little less pronounced than a typical "big" Napa cab, with fruits leaning toward strawberry-peach. Interesting flavors that are pleasantly different from the usual.

Part of the wine tasting selection for James' 40th birthday celebration. Maybe it is because of the other wines, but I didn't enjoy this wine as much as I did the first time we drank it. Also, cork was very dry when pulled - although the wine seemed fine - just not extraordinary like I remembered.

Bordeaux in style. Deliciously sophisticated with sweet tannin, and refined fruit. Reminds me of Kapcsandy's Bordeaux blend.
