Not super inky, but definite hints of that heart of darkness. Blackberry and elderberry fruit. A little of the meaty secondary note. More acidic than tannic on the finish. Overall enjoyable, and good with our moussaka, but didn’t really hit the profile of “Syrah”.

Good flavor. Smooth. Didn’t have that aftertaste that many syrahs have. But nothing special either.
