IMW 2016 Champagne - Walk-Around Tasting (Hyatt, San Francisco) : Primarily Meunier. Earth and wild mushroom. Apple core and slight vinegar. The fruit character is tricky for me to place - I haven't tasted many straight Meuniers. If Chardonnay is pale yellow, Pinot is dull purple, Meunier seems like dull orange brown. Strange.
