A very rewarding choice at Inverness‘ Walrus and Corkscrew. Fresh, mild acidity and a nice undercurrent of yeast. In full strength. From other reviews I gather that we got a good bottle. But a good bottle it indeed was, as Mrs Harrie agrees. Will look out for more.

Heavy on the oxidative flavors: bruised apple, sherry notes, roasted nuts, okay/good acidity. Missing balance and a bit depth, there is not much beside the bruised apple flavors. Freshness and fun are missing.

The mousse, aromas & acidity seemed a tad volatile. Lack the assured winemaking of the more established NVs.

Pronounced nose intensity with notes of mineral, toast, yeast, bread, lemon, apple. High acidity. The bubble is medium. Easy drinking. Drank during Assemblage 2020 dinner.

Medium lemon in the glass with persistent bubbles. Quite aromatic with notes of green apple, lime, lemon and meadow flowers dominating. Some brioche & butter in the background. Quite simple on the palate with a medium (+) acidity and long length. Ok, but nothing too memorable.

Schöne,ganz leicht goldene Farbe, hatte erwas von Brioche erwartet, anstatt sehr angenehmes Bukett mit Zitrusfrucht. Sehr attraktive Mousse

Elegant, dry and well-structured champagne with aromas of spring flowers, fresh apple, a hint of orange peel and almonds. Both fresh and rich on the palate, with a long and pleasant finish. Love it.
