Limerick Lane Zinfandel 18 Acres

Pleasant, but not exceptional. Didn’t really stand up to either the steak or the soy/chili paste marinated chicken we had it with. It was fine on its own post meal. Not a good PVR even at the apparently bargain price of $27 we paid for it. Would not hold for further development.

My first Limrock Lane from the actual producer, had many Carlisle and Bedrocks though. Impressive, full of ripe Zinberry fruit and exotic spices, just enough acid spine, and I would love to pair this with good Indian food. 4

The estate Zin relabeled for vino volio. Strawberry jam on the nose.
