Vincent Prunier Monthélie 1er Cru Sur la Velle

Decanted and drank over about 5 hours. Not too much evolution in that time. Shows a bit of wood on the nose, but a nice mix of dark sweet red cherry and sour cherry. On the palate, nice acidity, with a very soft tannic finish. Good Monthelie, if a bit woodier than I remember this being. Nevertheless, a nice pairing for roast chicken and vegetables and it disappeared fairly quickly.
