a disappointment, after all I had read in TimeOut, and from my parents' TN. Indeed, as others on this site noted from '07 TN, this wine was indeed far too tannic to enjoy, too closed, without any of the supple fruit I expect from a malbec. Ironically, I had expected this one to be a simple pleasure to enjoy now, and instead I should have cellared!

Very closed wine...perhaps should have let decant longer. Needs to open up more, perhaps will be better with time
