This Lake County Tempranillo continues to impress. Now at ten years old, it is rich, full bodied, and well balanced. While not as complex as a $50 Rioja, this delivers an impressive depth of flavor for this price. No reason to think it won't hold on for another several years. Well done. www.vincrush.com

Really nice. First tempranillo I've had from the US and it performed really well. Cherry, stewed dark fruits, and a peppery spice. Well structured with tannins and acidity in perfect balance. Dry with a finish that seems to go on for minutes. Glad that I have two more in the cellar!
