Bartlett Trio

I'm biased that this producer makes the best wines on the East Coast...this was lovely and a true pleasure to share with my friends

An afternoon at Bartlett Winery in Maine (Gouldsboro, Maine) : In the glass this showed a burnt umber color at the core with a brick red rim at the edge of the glass. In the mouth it leads off with raspberries and Bing cherries that transition nicely in the mid-palate and give way to flavors of blue berries followed by good acidty and a hint of cacao bean along a medium-long finish. OUTSTANDING

Served this at an off-line tasting in a Bengli restaurant. It was hit or miss...some people raved about it...and others were more "Meh" about it. What it is...is intense flavors of raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and a light hint of chocolate blended in amongst these flavors as they flow throughout the finish. This is a great "fun" wine.
