Andre Clouet, Dream Vintage Brut

The colour is deep gold to pale amber. Sent of mature apples, citrus and yeast/bread. Heavy on the autolysis. No sweetness, high acidity, medium body, medium alcohol. Complex, short finish, both bitter and salty at the same time. This wine definitely needs some food alongside it. Some great cheese, heavy pasta. Not for everyday consumption.

Their Blanc de noir bottlings are much better in my opinion. These aren’t bad by any means, but I’m going to stick to grande reserve and 1911 rather than dream vintage bottlings. It needs some time to open and unfurl, once it does you get some creaminess some lees. Lots of lemon & lime.

Nose: lemon curd, hints of honey, creme brulee, brioche, peach, pear Notes: 12% ABV, believed to be a blanc de blanc although there's no indication on the bottle. This Champagne displays many classic characteristics of old fashioned Champagne where the palate is generally on the sweeter side and perhaps with a heavier hand on the dosage. 2008 und 2009 holen mich nicht so ab, wie sonst. Bin ja Fanboy. Letzter Rest nach 3 Tage war am besten.

Mye bobler ved sjenking, nesten som skum. Fin nese med gjærbakst og grønne frukter. For mye bobler i munnen etter min smak. Noe roligere, så klart, etter en stund i glasset og viser eple og sitrus på en slik måte som jeg liker. Noe sødmefølelse, som fyller ut bra mot syren.

Rund og samtidig frisk og fruktig med lang og smaksrik ettersmak. 100 % Chardonnay. En fantastisk champagne som nok tåler en del år til i kjelleren.

Full bodied, nice and round with a gentle dosage offsetting the acidity (drinks fairly dry). On the nose - pear, brioche, lemon/lime, touch of hazelnut and ginger. Long dry finish. Excellent value and drinks quite nicely. Highly recommended.

Medium yellow gold. Lemon, apple, dried flowers, hazelnut, bread crust, and brioche, with good acidity, creamy mousse, and very good length. Well-balanced. Should be even more harmonious in a year or two. 90(+)

Definitely profited from some years in the cellar. Very good mousse and quite yellow color. Strong acidity and good fruit in the form of apples. Some minerality as well. Good now but will last many years.

Bread Toast 향이 강하게 느껴져서 내가 정말 샴페인을 먹긴 먹는구나 싶습니다. 다만 끝에는 떨떠름한 맛이 느껴지는데 이것을 Brioche 라고 표현할진 모르겠지만 저는 개인적으로 아쉬웟습니다.

not blind I'm a big fan of Jean Francois' wines but this is not really balanced and too sweet in my opinion. After half hour it get a bit smoother but still not precise and Saline as usual. 90-91

Strong mousse. High on acidity but possible to enjoy the underlying fruit as well. Let rest for several years still.
