Brilliant.....very fresh. Lovely Pinot typicity and just now approachable. Extraordinary with duck confit. The real deal.

Very approachable Gevrey. Dark ruby. Explosive nose of kirsch, rose, fresh rosemary, thyme, hints of blackberry. Very forward yet very well done. Medium body, slightly elevated alcohol. The times they are a changing’. Some subtle tannic grip. Good length. Great flavor intensity and expressiveness. Drink 2024-2032.

Super expressive nose with earthiness, animal, leather, cherries and toasted oak. on the palate: sour cherries, dark plum, cooked and overriped berries and leather. Over all a good wine but for me the oak was too overpowering. Not sure if I would buy again. If I did then I would for sure let it age at least 5 years to see if the oak would settle down.

Old friends late night at home. Drank in Grassl Cru. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, purplish ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of lavish toasty oak, ripe dark red plums, black cherries, dark licorice. Developing. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.2%), medium+ tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe dark red plums, slight prunes, black cherries, dark licorice. Long finish with spicy toasty oak and lots of fruit sweetness reminiscent …

wow, this is fantastic. Very polished and accessible wine of beautiful Gevrey red and blue fruits, really special. A clear level above the Rousseau version of this vintage, tasted side-y-side.

Prince Saturday Tasting - new container of Burgundy tasting (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street) : Oh wow, lovely nose of dark hued fruits, just a little too blackberry for me to mistake this as Vosne Romanee - kind of reminds me of Taupenot Merme but very slightly less polished, clean, sweet spice, pretty fruit, controlled minimal oak. PWS Tasting: Lovely berry complexity. A touch of blue fruit amongst the red. Very engaging. Had not bought on first offer.

Violet, blueberry jam, earth, and spice that come with a soft-textured yet solid structure. Very nice for a village wine!

From half bottle. Got all the right ingredients, all it needs is a few years of time to mature, beautiful acidity at this stage, very refreshing! Time, time is the key to its success. More opened and more spices showed on day two, very Gevrey-Chambertin, made it properly!
