Lebbio, Chianti

Popped and poured. Decently boisterous nose featuring freshly picked Bing cherry, rhubarb, scorched earth, untreated tobacco, and tart tangerine. Nearly full bodied, it has slightly rough-edged acid and dense, finely-grained tannin that combine to produce a weighty and direct mid palate. This doesn't hide what it is. Flavors include tart Bing cherry, early season strawberry, bitter cinnamon, and rooibos. Great value and enjoyable.
