Pretty, pale straw, heavy legs. Nose is fresh ripe pears and chamomile. Palate shows a slight, pleasant refermentation and a hint of sweetness. Pears, chamomile and vanilla give a nice roundness without overpowering the acidity. As it opens up, it fills your mouth with a spicey ginger tea. Enjoyed with pasta & pumpkin sauce.

Delightfully rich and juicy. Not perfectly integrated but it has creamy finish to go with the peachy fruit.

Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2015 89/100 - Vinous, Antonio Galloni (9/2016) "The 2015 Chardonnay (Santa Barbara County) is an attractive wine to drink now and over the next few years. Forward and succulent, the 2015 offers tons of appeal. Orange blossom, white flowers and light buttered notes flesh out in the glass. The addition of 4% Pinot Blanc, 3% Viognier and 3% Riesling, all aromatic varieties, adds pretty floral top notes and also gives the wine more of a white-blend …

Agree with Clark's descriptions. However, the alcohol is a big forward and not a pleasant as I'd like.

Bright gold. A very different nose to previous bottle - bordering on unpleasant greenness at first, with some milk of magnesia. It mellowed after a while but without reaching the standard of the previous bottle - peaches, peas, and vanilla. A similar taste - peaches, vanilla and cream, pear juice and nutmeg.

Bright gold. Gorgeous nose: lemon custard with a little lemon custard - variously sugar coasted shortbread and lemon sponge. Nice taste, but not as fabulous as the nose. Soft buttery texture, with touches of vanilla and flowers. Nice sweet apples, but also some lemony toffee apple. A dry fruity finish.

One of my favorite white wine quaffs. Not neutral but fairly gentle in varietal character. Used to have a bit more intensity. Fragrant citrus of lemon curd, plus nice Santa Barbara minerality suggestive of Chablis. Develops weight as it loses fridge chill. Decent tart lift thru the finish, but overall mild mannered and great in hot and humid weather, i.e., perfect for the mid-Atlantic spring, summer and fall, with our summery evenings starting in April and continuing nowadays even until …

Typical SoCal Chard with that toasty vanilla popcorn/artificial banana factors, yet not to an overwhelming amount. Bright citrus, pineapple. Relatively decent finish. Nice table wine with fatty fish or chicken dishes.
