I ended up drinking this over 4 nights. Can't remember having a wine last that long. As many other notes remark, it evolves for the better over time. Starts off as a somewhat boring, sweet fruit bomb, which tames down by day 3. Day 4 fruit was fading but still drinkable. There's potential here, but needs time, or an epic multiday decant.

Color of blackberry cordial - very light almost watery. Warm red fruit on palate, shortish length. Acceptable

Interesting wine. Not very good on night 1. Not very good on night 2, but a bit better. Really tones down on night 3 and is better and more balanced. Hint of petit verdot earthiness comes thru with the cassis, blackberry fruit. Not reminiscent of a havens, but a decent wine in a more forward style by night 3. Night 1 - 84. Night 3 - 86.

Not bad at all, big and complex on the nose, a bit confused in the mouth but may come together in a year or two. Will likely rebuy at $13, more going on than usual at this price point.

It's OK. The sweet grape jelly thing on the midpalate and finish isn't for me, but the attack and texture are solid. Just doesn't quite work and is on the simple side, but there was just enough going on to get it to the 85ish mark for me. 84-85. Nothing here similar to Havens really. Night 2: this had toned down a bit and become more balanced and better with less jamminess. 86-87. Slight upgrade. Solid wine, but not complex …

Left glass sit on counter 30+ min, agree with previous post except tannins are very light, slight spicy finish which makes interesting, should be a general crowd pleaser, wife gets too much alcohol, may rebuy to offer something lighter than cab, lighter than lot 193. Day 2: Undrinkable.

Decanted over 2 hrs, dark cherry color, semi-transparent, light mouthfeel, short finish with light tannins mid-tongue, basic everyday drinker, nice change from big-ass-cabs, liked slightly better than lot 197 Merlot, will rebuy at $13. Day2: I awoke with a slightly burnt tongue, must have done that on some chili yesterday, will have to re-review on second bottle.
