This has improved are mellowed since last sampled 6 years ago. Deep dark fruit cassis flavors predominant. A very well made Napa Cabernet designed for the long haul.

We drank a vertical of 2012, 2013 and 2015. 2015 was too youthful and not yet ready. Some people liked 2013 which was more earthy and tobacco, and others liked 2012 which was more balanced and silky. I preferred 2012 over 2013. 2015 had good potential and probably needed at least 2 more years in the cellar.

Pink rim, dark ruby red center with brick red tint. Blackcurrant, liquorice, cedar, tobacco, cinnamon, coffee beans and spices. Medium-high acidity, medium-high silky tannin and medium-high alcohol. Complex and good structure. Long finish.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like fig, raisin and oak. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity. Upon initial pop and pour, the color was ruby red with beautiful oak, fig, dried fruit and light leathery aromas. Very concentrated, young fruit, and nice balanced tannins still in place. Really opened up after an hour with a …

Very pleasant cab, with blackberry and cassis flavors, pepper and minimal vegetal notes. Very nicely balanced. $50/btl not inexpensive, but it does deliver at this price range.

Out of the bottle a little tight same as last bottle. Overall a really nice boutique Cab with dark cherry fruit on the decant with some tight tannins. Took about an hour to open up with dark cherry fruit that seems to be fading. I would probably consider drinking sooner than later. Have a couple 14's to try soon. Will follow up with those. Overall a nice QPR at $50 from WTSO but not worthy of the winery $120 retail.
