William Chris Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Lepard Vineyard

A bit light bodied and not as interesting as I had hoped. Tasty..no doubt...but not a great big cab like I expected.

Ruby red hue that opens with slight rosebuds and rosemary notes. Cherry and sugarplum flavors dominate on the front palate while tobacco and cinnamon linger on the finish. I’m fascinated to see how traditional warm-weather climate grapes in Europe develop and evolve in the U.S., especially in Texas. Skilled winemakers reward adventurous wine lovers.
