A PnP that was linear from start to finish; not at all interesting. I've had hit and miss success at this address, and yet I make a point to visit every few years, as well as taste at the larger European wine fairs. Their rosso is consistent in that it tends to be a simple, quaffable bistro wine, at best. https://www.italianwine.blog

Red and dark berries in the bouquet and on the palate. Some green impressions. Ok acidity and tannin. Ready now and the next year or so.

Value for money, there are much better picks out there than this one. Kind of a generic Sangiovese based wine. I would rather have a Chianti Classico. To me, this wine is just ok. Red fruits, tart, so-so finish. Meh.

Very nice traditionally-made daily drinker.

softer and redder fruit than the Morellino. 100s of micro-parcels for the VN wines. Red cherry on the palate. 80% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot. Aged in big cement tanks. This is a new development over the last couple of years.

Totally closed in. Fruit hiding behind high tannins and high alcohol. Expect to smooth out around 2016-17. Patience will b rewarded here. A great steak vino!

Some Merlot in the blend. Less focused and concentrated than the Nobile. Juicy.
