It is what it is - a high volume winery producing 'merlot' for the masses. I got a magnum from a restaurant that was closing due to the CoVid-19 pandemic. Never one to turn down free wine, I had a chance to try a bottle that I would likely never buy. To be honest, paired with greasy hamburgers it was just fine. I wouldn't go out of my way for another bottle but it's good to try something different every …

Sweeter with lots of berry flavor. After alot of breathing, gets a nice little tang to it.

Very nice showing for this wine. Golden in color. I love Vidal Blanc Ice wine. such a killer nose of canned peaches in heavy syrup. On the palate, there is a nice backbone of acidity. Not a lot but enough. The peaches carry thru. Viscous. Slightly sweet. Cloying never comes up. Opened by a non wine geek friend as a real treat (their best bottle that they had). Quite the compliment.

Still drinking nicely. This comes across as very sweet and syrupy (similar to other ice wines). Still get a nice floral characteristic, some lemon-y flavors, just a touch of maybe a sage flavor? I don't quite get the acidity that I'd gotten the first time around that created balance - would like to see a bit more of it, but still yummy.

Winorama Canadiana! (Niagara on the Lake) : This was the only Gewurtz's that we saw during the day. It was much more acidic than the Riesling we started with. On the nose it was lilies in a wonderful floral bouquet. That came through on the palette as well as some papaya and guava and other tropical fruits. Very nicely done and many in our group preferred to the '08 Riesling that had won the Gold Medal.

Nothing special--bland and inoffensive.

The only reason to buy this wine...support Olympics. Watered down, acidic drink. Not much to do with wine.
