I ordered this online and received the Grand Vin by mistake, but I had no complaints 😉. I went back and got this, so it's a win since both are at the same lower price. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. Sourced from a single vineyard in Grezzana, the 2016 Case Vecie pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. Glorious. Lovely to drink by itself, perfect with steak. Definitely needs >1 hour in the decanter (preferably >2 hours).

Rich, luxurious and supple. Lighter bodied than I expected, but hearty enough to pair with a reverse-seared tomahawk.

Garnet-crimson; dried cherries, lingonberries, dark chocolate, cigar, wood smoke; kirsch liquor, sweet raisins, mocha, silky, full body, good acidity, good balance, sweet tannins, lingering finish. Decanted 2 hrs, opened up more over dinner. Sweet cherry and raisiny fruit with complex secondary flavours. Taste of brandy in the 15.8% alc. Enjoyed with osso bucco.

No detailed notes. Nose very primary with sweet red cherry fruit and alcohol. Palate silky and chock-a-block with ripe, sweet cherry fruit. Goes down easy, but not a lot of complexity at the moment. Unclear if this will evolve further.

Opened in the morning. Then 1 hour decant before pizza diner. Wow, dark chocolat and mokka flavours comes with a velvet package Stunning ! Not a standard Amarone.

young amarone but already delivering pleasant taste : fruity and yummy some alcohol perceived, some educated sweetness. As an "entry level" amarone for Brigaldara, the exam is well passed. Time may further improve complexity with tertiary scents and depth

I agree with the previous note that this is not a typical Amarone. After 30 minutes in decanter, you get pronounced red berries and figs, along with tobacco and sweet spices which integrated very well. This is a super elegant wine that you can enjoy even without food.

Better than a lot of Amarone, but my only comparison with this producer is the 2010 Classico, which this falls well short of. Lacks the complexity. Pleasent enough to drink, despite the high alcohol.

Fresh raspberry, fig, peach, and just a hint of amarena and rhum pickled raisins that cede to tobacco and coffee. Flavourful, elegant, and long. Put it into a blind tasting, and nobody would guess it is an Amarone: This is a good wine rather than a special kind of drink reminiscent of wine as I usually think of Amarone. Red berries and straw in the bouquet. On the palate red berries, earth, ok acidity and mild tannin.
