Clean, crispy, citrus and mineral on day one. After some days in the fridge gains volumen and substance while keeps that lemon profile and a tremendous minerality. This is very nice and a must repeat at this price.

toastiness and grassiness on the nose light body, lemony, quite a bit of acidity hint of coffee and toastiness a little dilute (too old?) lemony finish

Grand White Tasting (Private Residence) : This wine came after the Flowers Sonoma Chardonnay and was outdone. Bouquet of green and yellow fruits with good minerality and balanced acidity. Could have used another component like more oak or more spices to round out the flavors. Overall a decent wine but lacks imagination.

Chilled, popped and poured. Pale golden yellow in the glass with aromas of citrus and pear. Lots of mineral laden lemon through an angular finish.

Similar impression as 4/18/12, although the color of the wine is lighter than previously described. Drink now-12/14.

Bargain Burgundy tasting (white). (Ma maison) : Citrus smoky nose. Tangy citrus with a slightly disjointed acidic profile. There's a noticeable wood treatment but I thought I read this only sees stainless steel. ?? Nice but I think I've had better for $20USD.

Bright yellow. Nice pure fruit driven lemon and apple. A hint of mineral and some pure grapey lemon flavours and a nice dry finish. De-classified Chassagne?? I don't think so.

This light-to-medium yellow wine was serially tasted at approximately 55 degrees Fahrenheit over a 2-3 hour period. The nose is immediately expressive of honeysuckle, green apples, citrus peel and wet stones. Light-bodied on the palate, with good acidity and flavors in line with the nose. The middle thins a bit but the resurrected finish is crisp and at least medium in length. To my palate, this is very good value and blows away most New World Chardonnays at this price …

Grands Jours de Bourgogne - Meursault and Volnay (Tonnellerie Damy - Meursault) : Tasting. Lean and precise with lots of good lemon character. Very good for its level.

Unlike many of the premier cru white Burgundy bottles I've opened recently this was not flawed, so that's saying something. Not bad; not an exciting under-the-radar-super-value-new-discovery either. I've read that this was raised 100% in stainless; so why could I swear I smelled wood on the nose? Rather full-ish on the palate, while I was expecting something a little racier. Absolutely adequate and acceptable ('AAAA').

Fine Vines - New Burgundy Releases with Guest Jeanne Marie de Champs (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL) : Ripe orchard fruit aromas coming across as fat and rich. Flavors of apple to start, then moving to lemon. Simple flavors but very easy to enjoy. Excellent Bourgogne level wine.

Blind Tasting 1983-2007 Chablis - Raveneau, Brocard & Dampt (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA) : Straw colored. Ripe lemon, lemon zest and lime blossom on the nose. Light to medium bodied with high acidity. Lemon and lime on the palate with just a hint of oak. Very nice, crisp and tangy.
