Mas des Bressades Gard Roussanne - Viognier

Almost reserved or shut down on the nose at first, like it needed to decant for a while. But it served well for a Sunday night pizza wine. The mineral backbone has faded but the unctious fruit is still very forward.

The nose is ripe fruit, the palate is even riper and the finish is fairly decent, especially for this price point- $11.This thing has unctious layers of fruit but a good rocky limestone mineral background and integrated wood.
