Philippe Leclerc Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Combe aux Moines

Very ripe fruit on the nose. Similar palate, with a nice entry and mid-palate of velvety fruit and smooth tannins. The finish, however, is a bit short and the tannins a bit too present. There's no way of telling this is 13 years old. I think it needs another 10 years in the cellar for the tannic finish to soften. It's got the fruit to age well, so there's no possibility of this drying out. 90-92.

Would hold for another several years.
