Interesting wine, bought this wine on a hunch. Interesting to taste merlot from the Lazio area. Ruby red colour, little bit on the purple side even. On the nose red fruit (cherries), hints of vanilla and some smokiness. On the palate red fruit again, hint of spices/pepper, tannins are a bit harsh (youthful).
