This wine has Chutzpah and a very belligerent attitude. It's thick, juicy, spicy, feisty, and looks like midnight-black motor oil… but I do not mean that in a bad way. You can pair this 100% Malbec with roasted red peppers, black olives, lots of garlic, plus a few Nicaraguan cigars and any freshly killed animal – just not roadkill.

Very modern, oaky, lavishly fruity. Good as a young red wine, almost sweet, easy to drink. Can’t tell it’s Malbec but it’s young so more character may come out with age. Enjoyable but not memorable.

My favorite Malbec to date! Delicious and smooth. Perfect time to drink. Cherry, licorice and mocha on the nose. Dark berries and pepper to the taste. No bite on finish. An excellent wine!! Wish I had more (or the patience to let it open over the course of the evening)!!

Served with a Marinated Flank Steak and grilled vegetables. Very solid both with and without food. Opens with soft notes of black and red raspberries, and then the notes of Mexican chocolate fill in. Have not had much Malbec, but was very impressed. A bounty hunter most wanted selection from a few years back.

Stunning malbec.....dark, brooding, nice weight in the mouth, very powerful flavor profile. Red/black fruit and cocoa powder come to mind. Well integrated tannins, nice long finish. To my palate this is a highly under rated wine, perhaps not known by many. A bit pricey but then quality costs, doesn't it? Wish I had more.........
