Paritua, Red, Hawke's Bay

Decanted. Enjoyed with broiled lamb chops. Soft entry, juicy red fruits, structure lingering. In development. Not very intense nor expressive. Short finish.

Interesting nose of coffee beans, guava, dark black cherries, some herbal notes as well as vanilla and oak. Full-bodied, this is quite rich and enveloping on the palate. Lots of Sweet red currants, red cherries and blackberry as well as spice and herbal shadings. Good stuff, and quite drinkable now, but I'd opt for giving it a few more years in the cellar to gain complexity. Drink 2027-2032 92

Time will only help soften

Certainly potential here but acid and structure is pretty dominant over the fruit at this stage. I will be giving the rest of mine another couple of years before trying again.
