A Trader Joes cheapie that I bought for my mother-in-law. She hated it but it's quite good. Surprisingly juicy and bright. Worthy of drinking but great cooking wine. Made sautéed shrimp with butter, shallot and this wine - finished with lime and cilantro. Perfect.

Nice clean, crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Not a stunner, but fantastic value for an everyday or party wine at $5.99. Also a great as a cooking wine that you can also drink.

Clean and clear in glass, with aromas of tropical and citrus fruit. Palate shows notes of pineapple and lime, a grassy background with spicy and brisk acidity. Medium finish.

Tart notes of of citrus salad (grapefruit, orange, lime) with a herbal/grassy element. Aggressive acidity.

Got to to give them some credit for bringing us us a really tasty wine. The nose is very much like a Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc with plenty of herbal, grassy citrus. But, there is some "Old World" civilized restraint as it crosses the palate. Very golden for a Sauvignon. Kiwi nose, but this wine is French! Just barely medium bodied, the weight across the palate is disappointing considering the color and the nose. But, as we get to the finish, …
