NobleRottersSydney - Stuart Wines with Hendra Widjaja & Jeff Fenech (Alio's, Surry Hills) : {cork, 13.7%} Plum/mulberry aromas, dash of chocolate, but pretty simple overall. Soft dusty tannins don’t really lift a light-medium palate of straightforward cab-merlot fruits and generally low intensity impact. Not over-extracted of puffed up – the balance is the best thing this wine has going for it, but it’s a bit bland and possibly a bit old too. Prefer the rhone-variety blend.
