Three Sticks Castenada White

Faint flowers and herbs on the nose. The palate is medium bodied melon with a touch of sweetness. I wish there was more acidity but this wine has a great mouthfeel, lots of fruit and some herbality as well in the finish. Pumped down overnight. This held up very well overnight, still abundant tropical fruit, sweet asian pear and peaches on day 2.

This curious Rhone-style white blend has Marsanne, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Viognier I believe, none of which seem to stand out. The wine has modest acidity but yet decent structure and texture. It is quite floral, and tropical fruited. Fairly long and a little bitter on the finish. Good with red snapper and beurre blanc as the butter softened the slightly hard edge on the wine. P.s.
