Another fine Shea. Tannins were grippy but overall balanced. Stewed strawberries and a bit of forest floor. Complex wine that needs a bit of time to open.

This delicate and pretty Pinot is drinking well right now, though it is more pleasant than nuanced. Light red in color; medium in body; aromas of cranberry, bay leaf, and dried strawberry. Flavors of raspberry, rose petal, and dried lavender, with a lively and straightforward finish. 14.8% alcohol. Drink in next few years.

From magnum. Persimmon and green herbs. Finishes with same, medium-bodied giving pure dark pinot noir without undue barrel influence. Fantastic with or without food.

Very vibrant acidity on opening but simmered down nicely within 45 minutes. All red fruits, very racy as Pinot goes. Lingers nicely, great balance. Still a wine for 5 years from now. Good to 2030 for sure.

Absolutely wonderful on PNP. At first young bright dark cherry notes and fresh mushrooms, but soon began an evolution to truffles and forest floor and many other depths. Continued to evolve over the couple hours this lasted with guests. So deep dark and intense for a Pinot. Drink now?
