Citrus, white orchard fruit, oaky elevage notes well integrated, quite dense with good length, at the beginning of a long drinking plateau.

Great energy - what I expect from a 2014. This is lean and mineral driven, almost chablisien. Sealed with Diam 30 - I think I'll wait a decade before trying this again.

Perfect maturity, one of the greatest Saint Veran that can be found

Same impression as with the last one a month ago: citrus, elevage notes, pleasant Saint Véran.

Great sunny vintage. Pure white fruit, sesame, tropical fruit, coconut, caramel, butterscotch, cotton candy, incredibly concentrated and focused reduction, amazing weight and energy, chiseled but large. 94

My last note was spot on - this is still improving, but entering its window now. 2018-2020 seems right. More notes with next bottles.

Sur des notes minérales et citonnées, un peu simple d'expression et léger, j'en attendais davantage.

After my last note, the remaining half bottle was re-corked and left in the fridge for 4 days. It was transformed! Slight reduction still on the nose, but the purity of winemaking really shines in the mid-palate with much riper lime providing more substance to the finish. Very little oak showing. This will never be full bodied but will be really nice in 2-3yrs. Drink 2019-2023. 90-91pts. Tartaric crystals forming - will be more in few years.

Noticable reduction is slightly distracting given the attempt here at purity of fruit - lots of sharp but ripe citrus in the mouth (more lime than lemon). Slight creamy vanilla, but impression is of a crisp and fresh wine that needs food. Will improve 2020 but I am inclined to drink my bottles 2018-2020. Just 'OK', I would have liked more body in this style. 89pts.
