Wedding wine tasting (Fremont, CA) : Light lemon-yellow; nose is aromatic, lemon-lime, tropical fruits, lychee; palate is light bodied, refreshing acidity, apple cider, fruits fade somewhat through the midpalate; short finish. Nice, refreshing, exactly what it should be. 88

Tasted blind, but there was no doubt this was a Moscato d'Asti. Pale yellow, lightly sparkling (frizzante). The nose is semi-aromatic, with medium (+) intensity aromas of tangerine, peach, honeysuckle, white flowers. The alcohol is low at 5.5%. The medium to medium (+) acidity keeps the off-dry fruit in balance, resulting in a balanced, long clean and refreshing finish that just keeps you coming back for more, although this vintage does not appear to be as crisp as previous years.

Screw-cap. Pop and poured. At home. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Thin legs. Lingering fine fizz. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of white flowers, honeysuckle, honeyed peach, slight stony minerality. Youthful. On the palate, sweet, high acidity, low alcohol (4.5%), medium- body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of white grape, honey, sweet citrus lime, peach, white pear. Sweet medium finish. Very good quality. With the alcohol one of the lowest I've seen before for Moscato d'Asti, …

Quite ripe with some raisin fruits sneaking into the aroma and flavour profile. It has musk notes and a little honey and is full and generous.

Definitely more on the grape juice end of the Moscato d'Asti spectrum. Disappointingly little floral or peachy flavor here, and only a moderately good acid-sweetness-sparkle balance. Still delicious, of course, but otherwise uninteresting. $20.

Definitely our favorite Moscato d'Asti to date. Had a nice tart note running through it that gave itmore finesse. Buy more!

The nose shows wonderful notes of flowers, in particular roses, strawberry, and peach with the peace being the most obvious. Perfect in the mouth with further notes of flowers that expand across the palate. Quite sweet for a Moscato d'Asti, but there's a certain bread note, which is almost reminiscent of champagne. The finish is unlike any other I've encountered in a Moscato D'Asti, both long and seeming to coat the mouth in silkiness.

Too sweet for my taste even though the citrus edge to this wine almost mitigates the sweetness. Not cloying, but sweet and light. This wine really delivers a frothy sweet fruity juice to the consumer! Can't find this wine to be taken too seriously, just a foamy dessert. 50+5+11+13+8=87
