The wine has become very tamed and balanced. Definitely drinking now for a delightful bordeaux. The tannin finish has muted since April, and after 30 min or so opens up with dark plum and cherry, slight sweetness or a lightness, not chewy and heavy like some cab's. Wish I had more now! As a second label, giving it 9yrs made it worthwhile. I hope 2012/2013 will be as good in the future.

In has become nicely balanced with dark plum and cherry flavors, along with oak and some earthiness. Finishes with some strong tannins. Reasonably pleasant wine now in 2015.

Second label. 2006. Leather nose and long finish with blackberry and little smoke

Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon. Unbalanced with untamed tannins that overshadow any fruit. Even after returning to the glass two hours later, it was not very pleasant or approachable. Dry. Low acidity. Moderate finish. 13% alco. (D 8, F 5; East)
