Argot Cabernet Sauvignon Bonny's Vineyard

Perhaps my favorite bottling from Justin Harmon at Argot and that is saying a lot, because I’m a huge fan of pretty much everything he makes. An incredible mixture of power, elegance, structure, fruit, freshness and richness. It’s approachable young. I would wait 5 to 10 years. I can’t even imagine how dazzling this wine is going to be down the road. Not a thing that isn’t perfect here.

One of my favs from today's tasting with Beth, wife/co-owner of the winemaker (Justin) at Argot. Of all the Cabs this one had the most unique nose and palate. A certain herbaceous, resinous quality to it. Very complex and very interesting. As with all the wines here, the fruit is so clean and impeccable and balanced with all the other elements. Make no mistake, these are not be Cali fruit bombs, they are balanced, refined wines. I'm sure they'll age …
