Skouras Syrah Fleva

Aiolos Tasting (Intercontinental Hotel) : Tasted from a magnum that was just uncorked. The wine shows a fully spicy and sweet character, cinnamon, nutmeg, the oak is quite forward. The palate is fairly easy and smooth, same flavour profile, grippy tannins, medium body, cinnamon and nutmeg scented chocolate, high acidity and medium finish.

This was very good of a modern and international variety grape wine made in Greece . Impossible to place it at Greek but the wine is very solid and well made. Good use of oak, well used Syrah here, dark fruits, light touch of spice and with a smoky side. Not over done or pushed to produce somethig it's not. A commercial release good value for money and will not dissapoint. 88
