Fantastic, not sure it is getting much better. Beautiful rich and well balanced - gimlett gravels delivers for me

Under screwcap. Purple red colour. Polished dark cherries, cassis, blackberries and chocolatey oak related aromas. Very New World Syrah, glossy and black fruited. Very smooth, integrated tannins. Sleek. A little vanillin oak also on palate. Not a lot of nuance here. No hurry needed to drink this, under its screwcap. Nothing wrong with it, it's just a bit generic.

Quite dark. Nose has cassis and roses and other dark florals. Palate is consistent and quite young and lively. Fine tannin make the wine drinkable but should get better and show even more complexity. Lovely intense finish I stocked up on this wine.

It's thinner in body for what is expected from a new world Syrah. A good food wine but not good price ratio.
