On the nose, a bright swirl of red-cherry skin, wild strawberry leaf, and a whisper of pomegranate seed gives way to cool violet petals and a hint of crushed granite that feels unmistakably Loire. The palate arrives with a lively thread of sour cherry and cranberry, edged by a dusting of white pepper. Average in quality yet above average in value if $16.

A Becky Wasserman find as it goes. A bit juicy with a touch of a richer mid palate to it.

Pale rose. Minimal bubbles. Simple and easy drinkable.
