Absolutely delicious. A concentrated wine with bold, yet not overwhelming, flavors. Excellent balance. Soft tannins. This is quite a wine for the retail price of $28.00

A concentrated, smooth, and silky cab, with flavors of red cherry. As claimed in the winery tasting notes, this cab comes pre-aged and is ready to drink. I believe it spent 58 months in one year old french oak. Tannins are very smooth, making this wine suitable for a wide range of foods or just sipping by itself.

Alta Maria- Los Olivos tasting room visit 2/2/13 : Lots of cherry, red currant on the vanilla on the nose, adding spice, minerality and black pepper on the palate. Nicely layered with polished grainy tannins and a full finish. Drinking nicely.
