Very dark red. Aroma of eucalyptus and tar, whiff of roses. Flavours of plum, liquorice, nutmeg, touch of black pepper. Different to the last bottle which was more chocolate-flavoured. This is elegant and spiced. Delicious.

Enjoyed this more than my last bottle. Very fruity but tannins and acid are well balanced.

Good as ever, not fading. Blueberry and rich garrigue.

Uncomplicated. Fruity. Basic. Okay.

Really tasty, very good right now. I bought every bottle Vinorium had left. Fruit, meat, garrigue, body, presence, acidity and medium tannins just balanced, and long flavour. Not a blueberry sweet syrup Shriaz, this has style and substance and backbone. I'll be sad when my last bottle goes.

My second bottle, which I had immediately after a glass from a young Penrose Bin 28. This kicked it deep into the weeds. So much more fruit, but also garrigue - a real herby kick - and thick mouthfeel, with a rich voluptuous mouthfeel, and an alcohol level not to be ignored. This bottle was screwcap - I vaguely recall my first bottle having a cork. In any case, it hits the mouth with a bacon-like garrigue, mixed with fruit, …

Crammed with fruit, blueberry and cassis mixed with alcohol, and a hit of perfume, mild oak, gentle smooth tannins with a distinct hint of menthol as the aftertaste fades out, into a suggestion of stems. Ultra fruity in an over the top way, like juice with vodka - unsubtle. Fun to drink though.
