Split verdict on the wine. What I loved about it was what my wife didn't like about it. There is a great peppery finish that I like in a cab. I could drink this everyday.

Not quite as good as the 2007, but quite good. Similar in flavors and aromas (red berries with blueberries) just a little less intense, but similarly excellent job of oaking with soft delicious toffee and vanilla flavors.

Second day open. Has that WA green tobacco notes to it. Finish is a bit hard. I prefer the Merlot in this cheaper"line extension" from Waterbrook. Nate notes coffee, stemy, bakers chocolate.
